Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019!! We're two months in but finally coming up for air to do a quick update here. We finished 2018 strong with a couple promo video shoots for 2 new clients, as well as the start of production on 2 new documentary shorts for our upcoming Art Luv: Artist Profiles series that is coming soon. We also headed to San Francisco for a long Holiday/New Year/Mom's Birthday trip. We came back refreshed and ready to take 2019 by storm! In January we had the awesome experience of screening Reliquary: A Mugging at the Emerging Filmmakers Project in Denver on January 17, 2019. We have been attending this event since we arrived in Denver last summer, and we have been looking forward for this opportunity to screen there. The Q&A after the screening was a great chance to interact with the audience as well. All in all it was a great night! Since then we've been finishing up some promo videos as well as planning our next productions, such as a stop-motion animation series that we're pretty excited about, as well as the next installment of the Reliquary series. For years we’ve been bitching about making our own content. We’d done the film school thing, worked on everyone else’s projects, and even flirted with entering the commercial world, but something didn't feel right. Every time one of us sat there, laboring to fix another person's mistakes, using our artistic talents for someone else's passions, we couldn't help but think, "what about the mistakes we need to make? What about our stories?"
We finally decided that we had to stop complaining and instead, to start our vision for once and for all: an independent film production company dedicated to putting out awesome content, the kind of content WE want to see more of. More genre films, more documentaries, more music videos, and more passions all around. But also, let's make cool stuff that can sell some day, so that we can also promise more paid gigs for talented friends who have been working for next to nothing for far too long. So here we are, at the beginning of our journey, trying to build something awesome, to push forward into the future, and to make killer indie flicks. Join us… Xoxo Lindsay & Michael |
